Danae Andersen
I graduated in 2008 from Crown College where I received a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and an associate’s degree in Business Administration. I have been playing piano since the age of eight and it is one of my passions. My teaching career began in 2002 out of my home and since then I have taught at Crown College Academy of Music, Maranatha Christian Academy, and All 12 Notes in St. Paul. I taught in my home studio in Watertown from 2011-2021 and since 2021 I teach out of our home in Chaska. I have experience teaching students age four through adult and love the opportunity of teaching different ages, interests, and abilities. My lessons include a variety of techniques including: ear training, composition, theory, rhythms, and improvisation from a lead sheet. I believe each individual has a unique learning ability and I work with each student to find that, so piano and music not only become a positive experience, but a lifelong interest.
Family
I have lived in Watertown, Minnesota with my husband, Jeff, and our five children since 2010. We moved to Chaska, MN in the summer of 2021. I feel blessed to be able to be a stay at home mother and piano teacher. I have also served as a worship leader at our last two churches for many years.
